چکیده
This study aimed to assess the potential genetic diversity among wheat genotypes by using cluster analysis and principal component for selection of desired parents in hybridization programmes. The was carried out at Crop Research Center, Department Agriculture, Himgiri Zee University, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, during Rabi season 2021-2022 under irrigated conditions. Twenty germplasm lines (Triticum aestivum L.) were grown Randomized Block Design with three replications an objective variability through D2 statistics wheat. Analysis variance revealed significant differences all traits studied indicating that presence material study. clustering pattern as per Tocher’s optimization method obtained on basis magnitude value twenty grouped into five clusters. maximum intra observed I (130.89) followed II (108.06) III (97.93). inter distance values ranged from 249.44 1101.59. between IV (1101.59) (1017.07) indicated wide divergence existed these From results Principal six components PC 1 PC6, which are extracted original data having latent roots greater than one thereby accounting 84.30% total variation.

The objective of this study was to estimate genetic parameters and to investigate the type of gene action in controlling androgenesis in wheat. Two wheat cultivars of Grebe and Houtman were reciprocally crossed with two synthetic genotypes of Do1 and Pol and then a complete set of the parents, F1, reciprocal F1 (RF1), F2 and back-cross generations (BC1 and BC2) of each cross were used for anthe...
متن کاملGenetic Diversity and Population Structure Analysis of European Hexaploid Bread Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) Varieties
Progress in plant breeding is facilitated by accurate information about genetic structure and diversity. Here, Diversity Array Technology (DArT) was used to characterize a population of 94 bread wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) varieties of mainly European origin. In total, 1,849 of 7,000 tested markers were polymorphic and could be used for population structure analysis. Two major subgroups of whe...

In this study, genetic diversity of 20 wheat genotypes was evaluated using 126 simple sequence repeats (SSR) alleles, covering all three wheat genomes. A total of 1557 allelic variants were detected for 126 SSR loci. The number of alleles per locus ranged from 4 to 19 and the allelic polymorphism information content (PIC) varied from 0.66 (Xgwm429) to 0.94 (Xgwm212 and Xgw...
